Kaki Board Games (the "Service") values your privacy and complies with applicable laws, including South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. This policy explains what personal information the Service collects and uses, and how it is protected.
Article 1 Information We Collect
The Service collects the following personal information.
- When signing in with a Google account: Email address, name (display name), profile photo, unique account identifier (UID)
- Generated while using the Service: Nickname, game room/match participation records, chat messages, access timestamps
- Not collected: The Service does not use separate advertising or analytics tools, and does not collect additional personal information such as location tracking or contacts.
Article 2 Purpose of Collection and Use
- Member identification and login session maintenance
- Multiplayer game matching, displaying room participants, providing nickname and chat features
- Service operation, inquiry response, and error improvement
Article 3 Retention and Use Period
Personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved or the member requests withdrawal (account deletion). Game room and chat data may be automatically deleted once the room ends or after a certain period of time.
Article 4 Outsourcing and Third-Party Provision of Personal Information
For stable operation, the Service outsources personal information processing as follows. Personal information is not provided to any other third party.
- Google LLC (Firebase Authentication · Realtime Database): Cloud infrastructure operation for login authentication and game data storage
Article 5 Bluetooth and Device Permissions
Bluetooth permission is used for the offline (Bluetooth) match feature. Bluetooth communication occurs only as a direct (P2P) connection between devices, and the game data exchanged this way is not transmitted to or stored on external servers.
Some Android versions may require location permission for Bluetooth scanning, but the Service does not collect or store location information.
Article 6 User Rights and How to Exercise Them
- Some information, such as your nickname, can be checked and edited directly in the My Page section of the app.
- If you wish to view or delete your account and personal information, please contact us using the information below, and we will process your request in accordance with applicable law.
Article 7 Children's Personal Information
The Service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14. If it is confirmed that information from a child under 14 has been collected, it will be deleted without delay.
